Central location
Location, location, location… finding the right location has got to be top of the agenda when it comes to picking your wedding venue. The Warehouse Taproom Bar and Restau-rant are ideally situated in Setchey, especially when you want a wedding venue near King’s Lynn. You can find us positioned at a convergence of key roads, including the A148, A17, A47and A10.
For your guests all across the region, The Warehouse Taproom Bar and Restaurant is a brilliant central venue. King’s Lynn is just four miles in one direc-tion and Downham Market is seven miles in the other. We also have ample on site free parking.
Versatility
Every couple deserves a wedding venue that can offer a versatile range of options to cre-ate a bespoke reception experience.
Our small wedding venue can allow you to have a free flowing, inside/outside vibe. You can dance the night away, graze the buffet or have an afternoon in the sunshine with tea and cakes. Perhaps you have a yearning for cock-tails and sophisticated nibbles, as you meet and greet your guests. A more formal sit-down affair can also be arranged. The possibilities are endless!

The Venue
Our purpose-built entertainment venue boasts a sleek design, with a modern glass en-trance leading you through to our custom Taproom Bar, Restaurant and Function Room.
The architecture is light and airy, whilst also managing to maintain a warm and welcom-ing atmosphere.The large glass frontage leads out into a beautiful garden, providing lots of space to function as an outdoor wedding venue. Seating is plentiful and comfortable, including plush sofas and bar stools. The decor reflects the modern building; laid back chic at its best!
Please note that we are a fully wheelchair accessible venue; we want all of guests to have the very best experience.
Mix and Match
As we said, this is an über versatile venue, so let’s break this down. There are a variety of spaces for hire depending upon your wedding venue requirements. You can hire the whole venue for your exclusive use; this includes the bar, restaurant and Function Room, as well as the beer garden. For example, you can use the bar and restaurant area for meeting your guests. This provides an excellent welcoming space for guests to min-gle, with some bubbles and canapés. Then, move into the Function Room for the wed-ding banquet/buffet and speeches. This can later be transformed into a dancing zone, which can also spill outside during the warmer months.
The Function Room
Alternatively, you can hire just the Function Room. This room has been perfectly de-signed to be multi-purpose and continues the theme of venue versatility. From the meet and greet, through the to a formal sit down meal or a buffet, to a hog-roast, this room can be transformed to suit your needs.
The Beer Garden can be accessed from the Function Room, acting as an over-spill area, as well as providing the opportunity for a cool down for you, and a run around for the kids! As your reception moves from eating and drinking, to dancing the night away, our events team can work with you to ensure the perfect set up for your wedding.
The Beer Garden
Consider our Beer Garden as the perfect outdoor wedding venue; either alone or in con-junction with other aspects of the larger venue. The garden is well cared for and has the added benefits of providing space for guests to bring any well-behaved four legged plus ones!
Please note the children’s play area, which is super important if your wedding plans include small people! The play area is totally enclosed, with only one gated en-trance, to ensure your children are safe while they play.
