Central location
Location is critical when researching your perfect party venue and we are ideally situated in Setchey. Nestled in a position at a converging network of key roads, including the A148, A17, A47and A10, The Warehouse Taproom Bar and Restaurant can be your central hub for families and friends to meet, drink, dine, dance and celebrate.
We are just over four miles from King’s Lynn in one direction and seven miles from Downham Market in the other. From east to west, we are very well positioned between Swaffham and Wisbech. Another key consideration is that we can offer ample free parking. We are also easily accessed by bus, with the nearest stop just at the end of our road!

We have a unique setup that means you can mix and match your party venue options. Want to be outside? We can do that! Want to dance the night away? We can do that too! Want to host a cocktail party with sophisticated nibbles? We got you! Need space for a band or DJ? No problem! Looking for a sit down more formal vibe? Sorted!

The Venue
The venue includes a sleek, modern glass entrance taking you through to our custom built bar. The large glass frontage leads out into a beautiful garden, with lots of space for outdoor events. It is also worth pointing out the children’s play area, which is super important if your party needs something to keep the children occupied!
The play area is totally enclosed, with only one gated entrance, to ensure your children are safe while they play. The interior layout is warm and inviting, with plenty of comfortable seating, including plush sofas and bar stools. Please note that we are a fully wheelchair accessible venue. We want all of our guests to have the very best experience possible.
By The Bar
There are a variety of spaces for hire depending upon your party venue requirements.
If you are looking for a semi-private vibe, but staying within the main venue, we have the ideal spot for you, at the right-hand side of the bar. With no through traffic, you can enjoy a degree of privacy.
This lively corner, next to the bar, ensures that your party is never far from the action, or your next drink! This location is suitable for groups of 25-35 people, ideal for a party event that is intimate and mainly drinks based. The space has been previously hired for small scale birthday parties, a ‘leaving do’ and anniversary parties. Free to book, please send us an email to reserve.
Laid Back and Casual
Alternatively, you could want that same element of privacy, within the main venue, but are looking for something a bit more laid back, with a wider selection of comfortable seating.
Opposite the bar, with one side looking out to the beer garden, is a welcoming and comfortable corner, perfect for you if there is lots to catch up on. If your party event is offering food as well as drinks, this could be the ideal location.
This space is also suitable for 25-35 people. This has been used really successfully for Christenings, where older family members really appreciated being able to sit down! The Function Room
Perhaps small and intimate is not your style. For the party you have in mind, you are going to need a much larger space with some room to boogie! You need look no further; consider our function room for your party.
This room has been perfectly designed for private bookings: from a formal sit down meal or a buffet to a hog-roast, we can cater for it all. We can work with you to ensure that you have the perfect setup for your party. Our function room has been a big hit for birthday parties, as well as hosting numerous engagement parties and school reunions.
