Central Location

Finding a location for a birthday parties venue that is easily accessible for all your guests is never an easy task, but we are ideally situated in Setchey, especially as we are well positioned close to several key roads, including the A17, A47, A148, and A10.

King’s Lynn is a mere four miles away and we are seven miles from Downham Market in the opposite direction. Going east to west, we are ideally located between Swaffham and Wisbech. Lots of guests coming by car? Not a problem, as we have ample free parking on site. We can also be easily accessed by bus; you will find the nearest stop at the end of our road.

The Venue

The Warehouse Taproom Bar and Restaurant was designed with chic entertaining in mind. You arrive at our modern glass entrance, with its clean lines and this takes you through you to our custom-built bar, taproom and restaurant. The large glass frontage leads out into a beautiful beer garden, with lots of space for outdoor events. The interior layout is spacious with warm and inviting decor, not forgetting plenty of comfortable seating, including our plush sofas.

Please note that The Warehouse Taproom Bar and Restaurant is a fully wheelchair accessible venue.

Birthday Bar Time

We have a variety of spaces for hire, depending upon your birthday party venue requirements. Our right hand side of the bar offers a semi-private vibe, whilst staying within the main venue space. With no through traffic, your party can enjoy a degree of privacy. Its prime location next to the bar ensures that your party is never far from the action and never runs dry! Effortlessly Laid Back

Another semi-private area to consider can be found opposite the bar. Still within the main venue, here you will find something a bit more laid back, with a wider selection of comfortable seating and tables. This cosy corner looks out onto the beer garden and provides a chilled backdrop to a gathering. If your birthday party is offering food as well as drinks, this works really well as your guests don’t have to juggle plates and glasses! This space is also suitable for groups of 25-35 people. The Function Room

Finally, if your idea for a birthday bash needs more space, then consider hiring our Function Room. Here you will find a flexible space that can cater for a larger gathering, providing space for a dance floor, buffet catering or a full on formal sit down affair! This room has been specifically designed for private bookings, carefully ensuring it can be multi purpose.

The Beer Garden

We also have a delightful Beer Garden to consider as a perfect outdoor birthday parties venue; either using it alone or in conjunction with other aspects of the larger venue. Our garden is well cared for and we are always pleased to welcome well-behaved four legged friends. We have even hosted canine birthday parties in our Beer Garden! Please note we also have a children’s play area, which is totally enclosed, with only one gated entrance, ensuring children are safe while they play. Fabulous Food and Great Service. We frequently visit this venue for breakfast and recently had Sunday lunch here.The food is always excellent and good value for money. The service is always friendly, helpful and professional.The venue is huge, with a large beer garden, and caters for large parties as well as families, coupled and dog lovers.I highly recommend the Warehouse, but don't spread the word as I don't want to end up queuing for a table.

Staff friendly, food great, good beer shop and antiques centre Called in for breakfast before looking round antiques, not your everyday breakfast eggs Benedict and smoked salmon was sampled. Must admit ordered large where as small would have been sufficient. Staff and service were very quick, nice hot cappuccino which you don’t always get so hot. Would try the full English next time, or return a little later for lunch. But the cakes looked good as well.

Sunday Lunch Food and service were outstanding. The restaurant and facilities were extremely clean and the decor was great. I would imagine this would be a good place for families when the weather is a little warmer as they have extensive outdoor seating as well as a play area.If you haven't been, I highly recommend this place. Christmas party to remember The Warehouse is a favourite place of mine especially in the summer, sitting in the beer garden drinking beer with friends or sampling their Sunday roast in the Winter months. We decided to try out their Christmas party night and we are so glad we did. The whole evening was well organised, the staff were friendly and attentive and the food was excellent. The disco was such fun and played party music to get everyone up dancing. A wonderful night. Thank you

Brilliant Party Night!! We often visit here for Sunday lunch or just for drinks. We decided to come to one of their first Christmas party nights. Well what a night it was! The room was nicely decorated for a party night. The staff work so hard to make sure everyone is happy. The food was excellent! The best Christmas party meal I have ever had at a large event. After the food was finished, the disco started. Everyone was up dancing and it was a great atmosphere. Throughly enjoyed it and would recommend this place at any time of year!!

By far the best attraction on the site. We enjoyed really good coffee & cafe in this lovely environment which has dog friendly seating areas both outside & in. We didn’t have food (other than cake) as we’d already eaten a main meal, but we saw what others had & it looked delicious. This reminded us of the bars & restaurants many of the bourbon distilleries in Kentucky have, and if we lived nearby, it’d be a regular haunt for us.

Lovely place to eat and drink Very welcoming place to eat . Visited for Sunday lunch without booking . Was seated and served a lovely roast dinner within 15 minutes. Staff were very pleasant and attentive within our stay will return and pass on our experience.
