There is an exciting and varied menu of on-tap beers to explore. Need a recommendation? Duvel 6.66, is a Belgian Blonde Ale, and an exciting new addition to the Duvel Moorgat portfolio, and already one of their best sellers on the export market. It is a full-bodied blond, with a beautiful, natural haziness and is well-balanced with a fruity, soft finish. Thanks to the use of plenty of orange zest, it bursts with fruity aromas.
The Taproom also features a dazzling array of bottled beers. A good beer to start your exploration of these gems would be Augustiner Lagerbier Helles; one of the most popular beers sold at Beers of Europe. This is a traditional German Helles brewed to a truly uncompromising standard as set by German Purity Laws over 500 years old, and above all, an outstanding beer. Offering a unique taste, it’s a pleasure for every beer connoisseur.
Another highlight of the Warehouse Taproom is our Spirit menu, which features over 70 different products hand-picked from the Beers of Europe range, including everything from local gins to world specialty liqueurs and everything in between. Whether looking for some familiarity or wanting to try something exotic, there’s always staff on hand to guide you to your new go-to.
Talking about this next exciting phase, Director, Jason Clark, said: “As the weather warms up The Warehouse Taproom and Bar is an ideal place to bring the family on a Sunday. Tuck in to a delicious Sunday roast dinner, then chill out and enjoy an ice-cold beer. The kids can hang out in the children’s play area. You can even bring the dog, as they are welcome inside as well as in the beer garden. I also want to highlight the restaurant’s special Mother’s Day Lunch, which would be the perfect way to let your mum know you love them! Keep an eye on the website for details”
Don’t just come for the great food and drink, on site, you can visit the newly expanded Beer of Europe shop, featuring around 2,000 different brews from across the world, along with ciders, wines and spirits. Take a stroll around the antiques showroom, browsing collections including retro, shabby-chic, coins, militaria, model cars, vintage items, books, stamps, ceramics, vinyl records, artwork, medals, glassware and bygones from a range of periods, including antiques from the Art Deco, Victorian, Georgian and Edwardian periods. It’s so good we have appeared on BBC’s Bargain Hunt 6 times. The site also features a second hand bookshop and outlets specialising in Steiff bears, Brio toy trains and Ravensburger jigsaws.
Truly something for everyone to enjoy!
