Business Breakfast Club

Introducing our Business Breakfast Club in partnership with NFU Mutual Swaffham Agency!

Business Breakfast Club Meetings. When you first hear this the thought of long, tedious conversations with someone who keeps the spotlight to themselves all morning comes to mind. But we want to be the ones that change this perception.

Business Breakfast Club Meetings are essential! Building strong connections and making new ones with like-minded people. Everyone should have a chance to speak their mind no matter their experience. Getting a new insight into how other companies run their campaigns and workplaces can be a game changer. We want to show that there is so much more than going to a meeting and staring at the clock waiting for it to be over. Instead, we want to create a community where you’re 10 minutes early busting with new ideas to share.

Our business breakfast club meetings aim to be affordable and approachable, with the added bonus of delicious breakfasts fresh from the kitchen all for under £7! Conveniently located off the A10 between Downham Market and King’s Lynn, the Business Breakfast Club will take place at The Warehouse. Held in a relaxed and inviting environment, we are open to all businesspeople.

So that everyone has a chance to come, this will be taking place on the first Tuesday of every month (except January 2024 when it will be Tuesday 9th). Book your tickets via Eventbrite HERE>>

Bottoms Up!

There is an exciting and varied menu of on-tap beers to explore. Need a recommendation? Duvel 6.66, is a Belgian Blonde Ale, and an exciting new addition to the Duvel Moorgat portfolio, and already one of their best sellers on the export market. It is a full-bodied blond, with a beautiful, natural haziness and is well-balanced with a fruity, soft finish. Thanks to the use of plenty of orange zest, it bursts with fruity aromas.

The Taproom also features a dazzling array of bottled beers. A good beer to start your exploration of these gems would be Augustiner Lagerbier Helles; one of the most popular beers sold at Beers of Europe. This is a traditional German Helles brewed to a truly uncompromising standard as set by German Purity Laws over 500 years old, and above all, an outstanding beer. Offering a unique taste, it’s a pleasure for every beer connoisseur.

Another highlight of the Warehouse Taproom is our Spirit menu, which features over 70 different products hand-picked from the Beers of Europe range, including everything from local gins to world specialty liqueurs and everything in between. Whether looking for some familiarity or wanting to try something exotic, there’s always staff on hand to guide you to your new go-to.

Talking about this next exciting phase, Director, Jason Clark, said: “As the weather warms up The Warehouse Taproom and Bar is an ideal place to bring the family on a Sunday. Tuck in to a delicious Sunday roast dinner, then chill out and enjoy an ice-cold beer. The kids can hang out in the children’s play area. You can even bring the dog, as they are welcome inside as well as in the beer garden. I also want to highlight the restaurant’s special Mother’s Day Lunch, which would be the perfect way to let your mum know you love them! Keep an eye on the website for details”

Don’t just come for the great food and drink, on site, you can visit the newly expanded Beer of Europe shop, featuring around 2,000 different brews from across the world, along with ciders, wines and spirits. Take a stroll around the antiques showroom, browsing collections including retro, shabby-chic, coins, militaria, model cars, vintage items, books, stamps, ceramics, vinyl records, artwork, medals, glassware and bygones from a range of periods, including antiques from the Art Deco, Victorian, Georgian and Edwardian periods. It’s so good we have appeared on BBC’s Bargain Hunt 6 times. The site also features a second hand bookshop and outlets specialising in Steiff bears, Brio toy trains and Ravensburger jigsaws.

Black Shuck Distillery

To complement the extensive range of Gins, Vodkas and Rum The Warehouse Bar will be stocking Black Shuck.

The Story of The Black Shuck Distillery…

The Black Shuck Distillery story began during the Summer of 2011, when Patrick and Sarah Saunders together with their children Leanne, Nicola and William had a dream to start their own business.  The original aim was to have a family project which could supplement their pensions in the years to come.  Today the North Norfolk distillery is a full-time thriving business boasting a vast array of fine Gins, Rums, Vodka and Liqueurs.

The family has always taken inspiration from the stunning North Norfolk Coast and the recipe for their White Label Gin which was launched in 2015 was no exception. It took over two years of recipe development before Patrick and Sarah were completely happy with the results. Those who have tried Black Shuck White Label Gin agree it was time well spent.

Two of the botanicals used in the distillation of Black Shuck Gin are Norfolk’s very own Lavender and Sea Buckthorn.  Sea Buckthorn is a hardy tree like shrub, which grows naturally in sandy soil.  Its stunning orange berries are renowned for their many health benefits.  According to Greek legend, soldiers set their war-torn horses free in the sea buckthorn forests to die a natural death.  They were amazed when their horses returned sometime later, full of strength, with radiant shiny coats and with their health restored.  Hence, the Sea Buckthorn was named Hippophae Rhamnoides “tree that makes horses shine”.

The family chose to use Black Shuck for their branding at one of the first family business meetings. The logo, designed by Leanne, is now recognised across Norfolk and beyond.

According to English folklore, Black Shuck, a large ghostly spirit dog with malevolent flaming red eyes has prowled the East Anglian countryside for hundreds if not thousands of years.  Many sightings have been recorded particularly along the coastlines, dark lanes and footpaths. As with all legends, stories of Black Shuck have been told exaggerated and retold resulting in as many variations of the legend as there are varieties of Gin.
